SUBJECT:
An Ordinance Amending Chapter 8 of the City of Aurora Code of Ordinances, Division 5 entitled "Video Gaming"

PURPOSE:
Chapter 6 is undergoing a change in the classifications and definitions for liquor licenses and Sec. 8-131(a) will need to reflect the updated liquor license categories.

BACKGROUND:
Section 8-131(a) references old liquor license classifications and needs to be updated simultaneously to the Chapter 6 liquor license classification update.

DISCUSSION:
The current Chapter 8, Division 5, Section 8-131, needs to have the liquor license classifications updated to reflect the update in Chapter 6.

IMPACT STATEMENT:
There will be no impact on any of the license holders. This change merely updates the liquor classifications changed in Chapter 6, under Legistar Item 20-0077.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is recommended that the proposed changes to Chapter 8, Article 5, Section 131 of the City of Aurora Code of Ordinances be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole simultaneously with Legistar Item 20-0077, amending Chapter 6 .
