A Resolution Accepting the Dedication of a City Easement, being Lot 1 of Diehl Industrial Park Subdivision located east of N. Eola Road and north of the Illinois Prairie Path (Scientel Solutions / John and Ron Cibulskis - 18-0322 / NA08/1-18.069-DED/E - TV - Ward 10)

PURPOSE:
The Engineering Department is requesting approval of a Plat of Easement for a City Easement located for Lot 1 of Diehl Industrial Park Subdivision to extend utilities to serve the development at the southeast corner of Diehl Road and N. Eola Road. There is also a Cross Access Easement and a Temporary Construction Easement shown on the plat for the construct of the access drive into the site.

WHEREAS, the City of Aurora has a population of more than 25,000 persons and is, therefore, a home rule unit under subsection (a) of Section 6 of Article VII of the Illinois Constitution of 1970; and

WHEREAS, subject to said Section, a home rule unit may exercise any power and perform any function pertaining to its government and affairs for the protection of the public health, safety, morals, and welfare; and

WHEREAS, it may be necessary in the future to construct and provide utilities in the easement area; and
