SUBJECT:
Authorizing An Amendment to the 2013 Fence/Landscaping Improvement Program and Continue the Ward 2 Fence/Landscaping Improvement Program in 2018 For The City Of Aurora.

PURPOSE:
Request to amend the 2013 Fence/Landscape Improvement Program and continue to provide assistance to the Ward 2 residents that apply and meet the guidelines for the 2018 Ward 2 Fencing Program.

BACKGROUND:
The Second Ward Committee desires to amend the 2013 Fence Program to include the guidelines (see attached), including without limitation, remove installment requirement and keep lien agreement in place until such time the property is sold and/or changes title (see attached) and to re-implement the same program in 2018.

DISCUSSION:
The Various Vendors will be paid from the Ward 2 Special Programs Account 312-1350-419.50-99 and not to exceed Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00).

WHEREAS, the City of Aurora has a population of more than 25,000 persons and is, therefore, a home rule unit under subsection (a) of Section 6 of Article VII of the Illinois Constitution of 1970; and
