New Horizon Christian Fellowship is requesting permission to stage CROSSWALK on Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

PURPOSE:
This purpose is to identify with Jesus carrying the cross.
BACKGROUND:
This is a first time event.
DISCUSSION:
The Church is expecting approximately 25-40 participants along with 8 staff/volunteers. The route has been vetted through the APD Traffic Division. Walkers will begin at the Church at Frontenac and New York, head east to Rt. 59, double back to the church heading west to Eola and back again to the church, utilizing the sidewalks and obeying all traffic laws.
A COI is being provided.
Any costs associated with this event are the responsibility of the organizers.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
At this time there are no city services required for this event.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
I request the proposed event be forwarded to the Government Operations Committee for review and approval.
