PURPOSE:
A Traffic Study for the 1100 block of Lebanon Street to determine need for traffic calming.
BACKGROUND:
A Resident submitted ACR Case ID 146485 expressing concern for traffic speeds on Lebanon Street.
DISCUSSION:
Lebanon Street is classified as a Residential roadway with a 25 mph speed limit. There is no curb, gutter, or sidewalk. There are no restrictions on parking for either side.
Traffic counters on Lebanon Street revealed an ADT of 320 VPD. Speeds were found to be average 25 mph, with a 85th percentile of 31 mph and a median of 26 mph.
Based on Traffic Calming Policy, this segment of roadway does not qualify for traffic calming. The minimum required ADT per the traffic calming policy 500 VPD.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
No impact at this time.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends acceptance of traffic study.
