L.I.F.T. Aurora is requesting approval to stage On the Wall on Water Street Mall, Sunday, July 17, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

PURPOSE:
On the Wall is an urban arts celebration.
BACKGROUND:
L.I.F.T. Aurora is a local not for profit that provides a place for all members of the community to Live, Improve, Flourish and Thrive. This is the fourth year for this event which drew approximately 150 people last year.
DISCUSSION:
Activities will include art demonstrations, family friendly breakdance performances and a DJ. A Certificate of Insurance has been provided.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Set up for the event will begin at 11:00 am and breakdown will be complete at approximately 8:00 pm. There are no City services or costs associated with this event.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
I request the proposed event be forwarded to the Government Operations Committee for review and approval.
