PURPOSE:
This study will determine the appropriateness of installing NO DUMPING signage across the street from 657 Aurora Avenue.
BACKGROUND:
A concerned resident submitted ACR Case ID 80825 expressing concern about illegal dumping of garbage.
DISCUSSION:
The area is a green space with several small trees. No garbage bags or yard waste were found at the time of inspection, only the usual roadside litter such as the occasional empty plastic bottle. On the opposite side of the street is a recycling yard.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Will require installation of signage by Operations Department
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff Recommends approval of two NO DUMPING signs placed on existing NO PARKING sign post
