SUBJECT:
A Resolution authorizing the reappointment of Elana Newkirk and Sean Williams to the city's Advisory Commission for Disabilities.

DISCUSSION:
In June of 2021, the City Council approved changes to Chapter 2, which included a sunset provision for all board/commission members. The sunset was included to bring the board/commission terms into compliance with the new dates provided in the ordinance, as well as survey members if they wished to continue to serve or step down.

The nomination brought forth today represents two veteran candidates.

Elana Newkirk is a ward 5 resident who will be serving their third term.

Sean Williams is a non-resident of Aurora who will be serving their second term.

If the above-mentioned candidates' appointments are approved, there will be one remaining vacancy on the commission.
