SUBJECT:title

A Parking Study for the Yellow Curb areas of Laurel Drive in the 800 block and by Hall Park.  Ward 5,  Alderman Franco.

body

PURPOSE:

A Parking Study for the Yellow Curb areas of Laurel Drive in the 800 block and by Hall Park to determine the warrants for No Parking signage in addition to the Yellow Curb.

BACKGROUND:

A Resident submitted ACR Case ID 128614 expressing concern that vehicles dropping off and picking up children from school were not obeying the Yellow Curb markings.

DISCUSSION:

There is more than 250-ft of Yellow Curb on the eastern side of Laurel Dive covering almost all of Hall Park.

This is an important area for pick up and drop off for Hall School.   If anything staff would recommend removal of some of the yellow curbing in this area.

However , we are simply recommending denial at this time.

IMPACT STATEMENT:

No impact due to no recommendations.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

Recommend denial
