Batavia Container Inc. is requesting approval to stage Haunts for Hope at Tivoli Plaza on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 5:00 to 10:00 pm.

PURPOSE:
This is a first time event for Batavia Container. The purpose is to raise funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
BACKGROUND:
The Sales Director of Batavia Container has a very personal connection to St. Jude's. This is an invitation only event. Batavia Container will be inviting their client base and project attendance to be approximately 500-700 during the course of the event.
DISCUSSION:
The organizers are working closely with both Ballydoyle and Basement of the Dead. Ballydoyle will assist with food and beverage and Basement of the Dead will give private tours of the facility. The main portion of the event takes place in Tivoli Plaza, there the deejay, food, beverage and pumpkin raffle will take place.
A Music Festival Permit will accompany this request and insurance is pending.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Barricades will be placed strategically to assure all beverages stay within the contained area. A barricade package will be developed and forwarded to Downtown Services for placement.
Patrons will be directed to park in Lot A and/or W.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
I request the proposed event be forwarded to the Government Operations Committee for review and approval.
