body
PURPOSE:
A Parking Study for Downing Court to determine if a parking restriction is needed.
BACKGROUND:
Resident complaint received regarding vehicles parking in cul-de-sac, making it difficult for vehicles to access drives, maneuver. Resident is requesting NO PARKING signage.
DISCUSSION:
Downing Court is classified as a residential roadway, 23 feet width in the cul-de-sac, with a 25 mph speed limit. Parked vehicles adjacent to the cul-de-sac median island would reduce the traveled way to less than 18 feet. Downing Court has existing NO PARKING THIS SIDE signage, on the north side of the court.

Staff recommends installing NO PARKING signage for the cul-de-sac median circle.
