PURPOSE:
To review parking regulations on Trade Street from the intersection of Ogden Road and Trade Street south to the 90-degree curve.
BACKGROUND:
The Owner of Napleton's Valley Hyundai submitted an E-mail (June 3, 2015) requesting a reconsideration of parking restrictions for Trade Street, which are NO PARKING THIS STREET on either side of the roadway at all times.
DISCUSSION:
Trade Street is a wide 38-ft in width. The original request to limit parking came from the previous owner and the extended parking impact of the apartments to the south. Staff believes some parking can be opened on the east side of the roadway pursuant to the business request.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Operations will be responsible for implementing the changes.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends replacing NO PARKING THIS STREET on the west with NO PARKING THIS SIDE. Replace the east side NO PARKING THIS STREET with NO PARKING with a directional arrow 50 feet from the north driveway and 50 -feet from the south curve.
