Ordinance Proposing the Establishment of a Special Service Area Number #192 O'Reilly's Auto Parts 1435 East New York Street, Kane County, in the City of Aurora and Providing for a
Public Hearing and Other Procedures in Connection Therewith
PURPOSE:
To establish a dormant Special Service Area in accordance with the City's storm water control ordinance
BACKGROUND:
The City's storm water control ordinance which was mandated by the counties' ordinance requires that a special service area be set up to maintain all storm water control facilities in the event that the owner thereof fails to do so
DISCUSSION:
The City's storm water control ordinance which was mandated by the counties' ordinance requires that a special service area be set up to maintain all storm water control facilities in the event that the owner thereof fails to do so.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Should the City fail to have developer establish special service area, the City would have not recourse for collection of maintenance fees should developer fail to maintain the property located within the special service area.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Place on Finance Committee Calendar (06/13/17 Agenda) for approval to City Council.
