PURPOSE:
A Parking Study for S. Randall Road in the 500 and 600 blocks (between Prairie Street and Sundown Dive) to determine the need for more parking restrictions and signage.
BACKGROUND:
A Resident submitted PS # 1938572 requesting parking be restricted to only one side of S. Randall Road in the 500 and 600 blocks.
DISCUSSION:
This roadway is less than 20-ft wide. The need for ensuring parking on only one side of the roadway is evident (see photo).
Consistent observations have shown no parking issues of the east side of Randall. Rather negatively impact residents in the area, staff would like to continue to monitor and observe any type of parking of the east side of Randall.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
No impact at this time.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Continue to observe parking patterns to check whether vehicles are parking on both sides of the narrow roadway.
