SUBJECT:
A resolution authorizing the Director of Purchasing to enter into an agreement with Electric Conduit Construction in the amount of $399,388 for electrical improvements along Pinney Street in Ward 6.

PURPOSE:
Execution of this contract will allow for the city to remove the existing electrical conduits from the Pinney Street Deck, locating these facilities underground.

As a part of that agreement, the owner will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and any future replacement of the structure that is built for their access.

DISCUSSION:
The city advertised plans publicly for the electrical work in this location, with four bids received, opened and read aloud at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 8. Of those bids, the lowest bid was submitted by Electric Conduit Construction, in the amount of $399,388. This work ...
