PURPOSE:
To determine the Volume/Speed of Truck Traffic on Crane Street per resident request.
BACKGROUND:
A Heavy Vehicle Study was conducted at the GO Committee's request based on a resident concern over the number of heavy vehicles on Crane Street..
DISCUSSION:
A three day study was conducted in April 2014 to classuify all vehicles traveling on Crane Street and specifically to determine the percentage of heavy vehicle. The percentage of large trucks or semi tractor trailer was 1% or approximately 10 vehicles per day. This level of traffic is small and does not represent a sum that would require mitigation.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
No impact based on staff recommendation.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends no action.
