SUBJECT:
A Resolution Accepting the Dedication of a City Easement at 701 S. Eola Road (Diocese of Joliet / Our Lady of Mercy Church - 14-00790 / NA30/4-14.274-M - TV - Ward 8)

PURPOSE:
The Petitioner, Diocese of Joliet / Our Lady of Mercy Church, is requesting approval of Plat of Easement granting a city easement on property located at 701 S. Eola Road. This Easement will cover the watermain that the Petitioner construct as part of the expansion to the religious institution which was approved in 2003 and implemented in 2007.

BACKGROUND:
The Subject Property is located at 701 S. Eola Road and is home of Our Lady of Mercy Church, which is part of the Fox Valley East Planned Development District.

DISCUSSION:
Staff has reviewed the Plat of Easement petition, submitted by the petitioner and have sent comments back to them on those submittals. The petitioner has made all the requested changes to these documents and they now meet all of the applicable codes and ordinances.

IMPACT STATEMENT:
The Planning and Zoning Division would anticipate that this project will increase the City's overall tax base and viability by facilitating investment and development which will offset any incidental Department or staffing impacts.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff would recommend APPROVAL of the Resolution Accepting the Dedication of a City Easement at 701 S. Eola Road.
