Hike for Hesed Walk from River St. to Benton St. to Broadway to the Aurora Transportation Center by Sidewalks, Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 8:00am to 11:30am.

PURPOSE:
Hesed House is requesting approval of its application to hold the Hike for Hesed walk event fundraiser.
BACKGROUND:
Hesed House has conducted the Hike for Hesed walk event for a number of years, most recently using a different route. This year, Hesed House is proposing to go back to the route that it used in previous years. The route will use sidewalks and participants will abide by pedestrian and traffic signs/signals rules. Hesed House is expecting 350-375 participants with 40-50 staff/volunteers helping with the event.
DISCUSSION:
Hesed House is responsible for all costs associated with holding this proposed event.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
No City services are being requested.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Please forward to the Government Operations Committee for approval.
