PURPOSE:
Parking study to investigate the West Randall Apartments parking concerns.
BACKGROUND:
This area has been a concern for several years. The current parking demand for the Randall West Apartments exceeds available parking availability. Some restrictions have been put in place on the Old Randall Road portion across new Randall from the Randall West Apartments. These were put in place due to traffic congestion and crossing safety.
DISCUSSION:
While the resident has a valid concern, staff will recommend no further action at this time. Any parking restrictions will further exasperate the problems in this area.
Staff does recommend any future redevelopment in this area to include adequate parking.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Based on Staff recommendation no impact.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends no action.
