PURPOSE:
A Parking Study for 950 Oliver Avenue, to determine need for an on-street, handicap parking space.
BACKGROUND:
Received handicap parking application, resident having difficultly parking near 950 Oliver Avenue.
DISCUSSION:
Oliver Avenue is classified as a residential street, 36-ft wide, with a speed limit of 25 mph and on-street parking on both sides. Field check did not reveal an off-street, handicap parking location, to accommodate the requesting resident.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Street Department resources to install signage.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends installation of handicap parking signage in front of 950 Oliver Avenue.
