C.M. Bardwell School is requesting permission to close a portion of Seminary Avenue from Lincoln, east to the alleyway for their Family Fun Fair on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

PURPOSE:
The Family Fun Fair brings students, staff, parents and the community together to celebrate the beginning of the school year.
BACKGROUND:
The event has been held for 15 years and continues to grow. Projected attendance is 400.
DISCUSSION:
Street closure is requested as a safety precaution. A COI is pending.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
City services requested:
Street Department to deliver barricades to the corners of Seminary and Lincoln and Seminary and the alleyway on Friday, September 8th. Two (2) class III to each location.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
I request the proposed event be forwarded to the Government Operations Committee for review and approval.
