Requesting approval for the use of Phillips Park Zoo for the Brokaw Early Learning Family Field Trip on October 7, 2014 from 1:00 to 2:30.

PURPOSE:
Educational stations will be set up to teach the preschoolers about the animals.
BACKGROUND:
This is the first year for this event.
DISCUSSION:
There are approximately 400 people invited to attend. Stations will be set up in the Zoo, near the Visitors Center and the Sunken Garden. Organizers will bring everything needed for the stations. The Zoo will not be closed to the public during the event.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
There are no City services requested for the event.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
I request the proposed event be forwarded to the Government Operations Committee for review and approval.
