Fox Valley United Way - Windy City Amusement Carnival - October 11-13 and 18-20, 2013. Friday, 5-10 pm; Saturday Noon-10 pm; Sunday Noon -8 pm

PURPOSE:
Fox Valley United Way is requesting permission to conduct a carnival two weekends in October, 11-13 and 18-20, 2013 at North River Parking Lot W in partnership with Windy City Amusements, Inc. The purpose of the carnival is to raise funds for Fox Valley United Way .
BACKGROUND:
This is the first carnival event Fox Valley United Way is sponsoring along with Windy City Amusement; the first carnival for Windy City Amusement at lot W this year.
DISCUSSION:
Requesting the use of North River Parking Lot W to host the carnival. Police will be contracted. Windy City is contacting Aurora Police and is responsible for clean-up of the parking lots associated with lot W. The organizers have included an insurance certificate from Windy City Amusements. Fox Valley United Way will contact Waubonsee Community College regarding use of the parking lot.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
To foster Fox Valley United Way to bring funds to the community with this fund raising event.
