Granger Middle School is requesting permission to stage the Roaring 5K on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 7:00 to 11:00 am.

PURPOSE:
This event raises funds for students.
BACKGROUND:
This is the 3rd year for this event. Last year 400 people participated.
DISCUSSION:
Organizers are once again expecting 400 people to participate and 100 staff/volunteers to assist.
The route is around the school in the Stonebridge neighborhood. A map and COI are included as attachments.
Granger Middle School is responsible for all costs associated with this event.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
City services will be needed from the Aurora Police Department Traffic Division.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
I request the proposed event be forwarded to the Government Operations Committee for review and approval.
