Resolution requesting Professional Services from Crowe Horwath, One Mid America Plaza
Suite 700, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois 60181-4707 in the amount of $90,000

PURPOSE:
The City of Aurora is seeking to evaluate its current technology department and City-wide technology services and develop an IT Strategic Plan or "IT Roadmap", focusing on the following objectives:
? Engage in process mapping to document key technology-related processes
? Identify key projects and help IT plan, budget, and prioritize
? Develop IT short and long term goals and alignment with Citywide vision and other innovation strategies
? Seek ways to streamline and modernize, as well as standardize the way Citywide Departments utilize IT's services and technology"

Services/Deliverables: Listed below are the services and deliverables included in Crowe's project approach.




BACKGROUND:
The most vital cities in the world enable their communities with leading-edge technology that engages, informs, and empowers. Mayor Irvin's vision for achieving this is built on a commitment to modern infrastructure, smart communities, and technological innovation.

DISCUSSION:
The Mayor's Office is in support of this initiative. The City has already been using Crowe Horwath since 2013 for other projects, such as Public Safety Computer Assisted Dispatch/Records Management Systems (CAD/RMS) and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Business Process Improvement. The most recent agreement was in 2016 for a business process review (BPR)...
