A resolution to accept Restorations Techs for citywide emergency board ups.
PURPOSE:
To obtain City Council approval for emergency board up services
BACKGROUND:
The emergency board ups after a fire or other emergencies is an important part of the process to maintain the neighborhood affected in a safe condition.
DISCUSSION:
A formal bid request was sent out for the emergency board up services after a fire or other emergency services within the City of Aurora Illinois. Responses were received from 3 vendors with Restoration Techs of Aurora, IL being one of the lowest responsible bidders and the only bidder to respond to an email requesting if the prices on the bid can be extended.
Funding for the services will be; account 101-1827-424.36-21 $13,500. The account has enough funds to cover expenses through 2020.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
This resolution must be approved in order to provide emergency board up services within the City of Aurora Illinois limits.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Request is for the approval of Restoration Techs for board up services
