PURPOSE:
A Parking Study for the south entrance to 649 S. River Street to determine the need for specific parking restrictions.
BACKGROUND:
A request was made to improve the sight distance between vehicles exiting the 649 south driveway and River Street vehicles.
DISCUSSION:
Vehicles leaving 649 S. River Street, COA Water & Sewer Garage, often have trailers, which requires more time while making turns onto River Street.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Operations would be responsible for installing and maintaining parking restriction signage.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends installing "No Parking Here to Corner" signage, on the west side of River Street, south of the southern-most drive to the COA Water & Sewer Garage.
