SUBJECT:title
A Traffic Study on Autumn Lane.  Ward 1, Alderman Bohman
body
PURPOSE:
To review parking issues adjacent to driveways.

BACKGROUND:
A resident submitted ACR 93176 expressing concern that Autumn Lane was not receiving all of its mail.  The resident stated that mail was not being delivered due to parking in the vicinity of driveways.  A brief inspection in the vicinity of 983 Autumn Lane revealed that all the mail boxes are within five-feet of the driveways, within the required NO PARKING zones next to driveways.

DISCUSSION:
All mailboxes are within five-feet of the driveways, and city regulations call for vehicles not to park within five-feet of a driveway.  The Post Office is not aware of any delays in delivery due to on-street parking in the area

IMPACT STATEMENT:
Staff recommends no action at this time.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends no action.
