SciTech Hands on Museum is requesting permission to stage their 30th Birthday Bash on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 1:00 to 6:00 pm in Lot D.

PURPOSE:
SciTech Hands on Museum is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a birthday celebration.
BACKGROUND:
The museum has done other events, not outdoors and of this scale.
DISCUSSION:
Activities include: Food trucks/vendors, games, inflatables and Ballydoyle's food truck serving beer and wine. They anticipate approximately 400 people to attend throughout the course of the event.
A COI has been applied for.
SciTech is requesting use of Lot D, which is between the museum and Support Techs.

City services requested:
Streets-Barricades at the entrance to Lot D to be delivered on Friday, September 28th.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
I request the proposed event be forwarded to the Government Operations Committee for review and approval.
