PURPOSE:
A Traffic Study for the James Leigh Drive and Pine Creek Drive intersection to determine warrants for STOP signage.
BACKGROUND:
A resident submitted ACR Case ID 129048 expressing concern for the uncontrolled intersection at James Leigh Drive and Pine Creek Drive, suggesting STOP signage.
DISCUSSION:
The intersection is uncontrolled, with no STOP or YIELD signage or pavement markings. The intersection is located two houses to the south of the Hafenrichter Road and Pine Creek Drive intersection. The intersection has a clear line of site in all directions. Both roadways are only 27-ft wide.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Operations will be responsible for installing the STOP sign.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends installing a single STOP sign on James Leigh Drive approaching Pine Creek Drive.
