PURPOSE:
To determine necessity for signage at the bicycle trail crossing at the Montgomery Road and Kautz Road.  
 
BACKGROUND:
A resident requested crossing signage for the bicycle trail crossing at the Montgomery Road and Kautz Road.  
 
DISCUSSION:
The location in question would benefit from enhanced signage, the current intersection does have a crosswalk and proper ADA ramps.  Given the current condition of the intersection staff would recommend signage.   
 
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Operations would be required to install signage.       
 
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends installation of bike path ahead signage and when appropriate restripe existing crosswalk to multi use path standard.
