A Building, Zoning and Economic Development Committee Resolution Approving a Final Plat consolidating lot A of Island Avenue Addition and part of lots 8, 9 and 12 of the Assessor's Map of Stolp's Island for the Silver Plate Subdivision located at the northeast corner of Stolp Avenue and East Downer Place (City of Aurora / Olive Tree Properties, LLC - 19-0819 / AU22/3-19.173-FSD - AM - Ward 6)
PURPOSE:
The Petitioner City of Aurora is Requesting approval of a Final Plat consolidating Lot A of Island Avenue Addition and part of Lots 8, 9 and 12 of the Assessor's Map of Stolp's Island for the creation of the Silver Plate Subdivision located at the northeast corner of Stolp Avenue and East Downer Place for a Food and Beverage Services (2500) use. The consolidated lots would then comply with the Subdivision Control Ordinance and allow Olive Tree Properties, LLC to develop part of Lots 8, 9 and 12 of the Assessor's Map.
BACKGROUND:
The Subject Property is currently with DC Downtown Core District zoning.

The consolidation of Lot A of Island Avenue Addition and part of Lots 8, 9 and 12 of the Assessor's Map of Stolp's Island is required by subdivision control ordinance. This will allow the Silver Plate Subdivision to be created, and Olive Tree Properties, LLC to design and plan the construction of a deck above with a patio underneath, for a Food and Beverage Services (2500) use.
DISCUSSION:
Staff has reviewed the Final Plat and have sent comments back to the consultant on these submittals. The consultant has made the requested revisions to the documents and they now meet the applicable codes and ordinances.
