Bednarcik Junior High School HSO is requesting permission to stage The Running of the Bulldogs 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 13 at 8:00 am.

PURPOSE:
This is a fundraiser for Bednarcik Junior High School to purchase technology for staff and students.
BACKGROUND:
This is a first time event.
DISCUSSION:
The school is expecting approximately 500 participants. A route map is attached with this application. The route is through the neighborhood around the school and has been reviewed by the APD Traffic Division.
Bednarcik is responsible for all costs associated with this event.
A COI has been received and is attached.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
City services will be needed from the Aurora Police Department Traffic Division.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
I request the proposed event be forwarded to the Government Operations Committee for review and approval.
