A Parking Study for the alley in back of 454-424 North Avenue. Ward 2, Alderman Garza.
body
PURPOSE:
A Parking Study for the alley in back of 454-424 North Avenue to ease congestion.
BACKGROUND:
A Resident submitted ACR 146127 expressing concern that access to the alley behind their residence was being blocked by rudely parked vehicles. Sometimes the alley would be completely blocked by improperly parked vehicles.
DISCUSSION:
The alley is paved but narrow so that only one car may pass at a time. No Parking in Alley signage may reduce vehicles parked so that they are blocking or partially blocking movement through the alley.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Operations would be responsible for installation of No Parking signage.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends installations of No Parking Anytime signage.
