Requesting permission for the Family Bible Church to close Marseillaise between Commonwealth and LeGrande on June 11 between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm to kick off their summer program for kids.

PURPOSE:
The purpose is to promote the churches summer children's programming not only to parishioners but to the neighborhood as well since the church is located in a residential area.
BACKGROUND:
Family Bible Church has been a fixture in this neighborhood for a number of years. This is the third year for this event which promotes their summer programming for children. Expected attendance is approximately 75 with an additional 25 volunteers.
DISCUSSION:
There are no direct City costs associated with this event.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Assistance from the following City department is requested:
Streets to place barricades on June 11th by 7:30 am at the corner of Marseillaise and Commonwealth and Marseillaise and LeGrande to be placed by the event organizers just prior to set up. Pick up on June 12th.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
I request the proposed event be approved and forwarded to the Government Operations Committee.
