A Resolution Accepting the Dedication of Right of Way for Farnsworth Avenue along the property located at 2650 N. Farnsworth Avenue, Aurora, Illinois 60502 (Pipe Fitters Training Fund - AU01/1-14.170-M - TV/MG - Ward 1)

PURPOSE:
The purpose of this Resolution is to dedicate 40 feet of right-of-way for Farnsworth Avenue along the property located at 2650 N. Farnsworth Avenue.

BACKGROUND:
The City's Engineering Division is requesting 40 feet of right-of-way dedication along the property at 2650 N. Farnsworth Avenue.

DISCUSSION:
The City's Engineering Division is requesting the Plat of Dedication for 40 feet of right-of- way located at 2650 N. Farnsworth Avenue.

IMPACT STATEMENT:
This item will increase the tax base and overall viability of the City which should offset any incidental Department or staffing impacts.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff would recommend Approval of the Plat of Dedication for Farnsworth Avenue located at 2650 N. Farnsworth Avenue, Aurora, Illinois 60502

WHEREAS, the City of Aurora has a population of more than 25,000 persons and is, therefore, a home rule unit under subsection (a) of Section 6 of Article VII of the Illinois Constitution of 1970; and

WHEREAS, subject to said Section, a home rule unit may exercise any power and perform any function pertaining to its government and affairs for the protection of the public health, safety, morals, and welfare; and
