Requesting approval for Alpha Media LLC to stage the 4th annual Cock-A-Doodle Brew Festival on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm in the parking lot at 201 N. River Street.

PURPOSE:
This event brings a craft beer and food festival to Aurora, promotes the radio station and is a fundraiser for the Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry.
BACKGROUND:
This is the 4th year for this event which expects to draw approximately 2,000 attendees. Revenue is used to offset the cost of the event and supports the Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry.
DISCUSSION:
Alpha Media LLC has been working with Special Events and the City Clerk to ensure all required documentation is met prior to the event.
Activities are much the same as last year. There will be beer sampling, music and various food vendors.
Organizers assume all responsibility for fees charged by APD for security.
A COI will be provided a minimum of two weeks prior to the event date.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
City services requested:
Use of A Lot for attendee parking
Use of X and Y Lots for the event (Alpha Media is working with HCA)
Barricades dropped off to block X and Y lots on Thursday, 9/27 and picked up Monday, 10/1.
Security as deemed necessary by APD.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
I request the proposed event be forwarded to the Government Operations Committee for review and approval.
