PURPOSE:
To consider optimizing parking on Flagg Street in the 600 block.
BACKGROUND:
A Resident submitted ACR Case ID 113137 complaining that parked vehicles are blocking the driveway of 144 Union Street (which is a corner Lot with the driveway on Flagg Street), and this makes it difficult for the Resident at 621 Flagg Street to use their driveway.
DISCUSSION:
Flagg is a Residential Street. This portion of Flagg Street is the standard 29.5-ft width. A visit to the driveway did not reveal any vehicles blocking it. Nevertheless, Yellow Curb on either side of the driveway may be in order; for both addresses.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Operations will be responsible for installing Yellow Curb.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends Yellow Curb for both driveways.
