PURPOSE:
A Traffic Study for the Emma Circle and Dorothy Drive western intersection to determine the possible need for STOP signage.
BACKGROUND:
A Resident submitted ACR Case ID 133213 requesting a Traffic Study for a STOP sign on Emma Circle where it "T"s into Dorothy Drive.
DISCUSSION:
Both roadways are classified as Residential. It is an uncontrolled intersection.
It is recommended for clarification of right of way to install a single stop sign on the Emma Circle approach to Dorothy Drive.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Operations would be required to install stop sign on Emma Circle approach to Dorothy Drive.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends approval of installation of a STOP sign on the Emma Circle approach to Dorothy Drive.
