PURPOSE:
A Parking Study for Edinburgh Court to determine the need for parking restrictions.
BACKGROUND:
A Resident submitted ACR Case 129589 requesting a NO Parking zone be established for the curb opposite their drive approach.
DISCUSSION:
Edinburg Court is a Residential roadway. The Edinburg Court roadway measures 25.5 to 26-ft in width. The driveway at 1648 Edinburg Court is wide enough to park to cars side by side.
Installing the requested no parking here to corner per ordinance would not address the residents' concerns due to driveway distance from corner. Staff recommends remitting to resident to obtain petition to restrict traffic on one side of street.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
No impact due to no action.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends denial.
