PURPOSE:
To perform a Parking Study for 145 Trask Street to evaluate the existing Parking Restrictions.
BACKGROUND:
A Resident submitted ACR Case ID 113916 requesting on-street parking for 145 Trask Street. Parking is prohibited on both sides of the 100 block of Trask Street, and the Residents of the above address are asking for on-street restricted Handicap Parking.
DISCUSSION:
Parking was restricted on both sides of Trask at the request of the Alderman and the Police Department. The reason for restricting traffic has been met and continues to serve the intended purpose.
At this time staff does not recommend lifting the ban on parking on Trask Street.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
No action at this time.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends denial.
