Resolution Establishing the Maximum Number of City of Aurora Liquor Licenses by Class.

PURPOSE:
To establish the number of Class E - Full Menu Restaurant license for the number of Class E licenses at 44.

BACKGROUND:

The applicant is opening this new location in Aurora. The applicant currently operates two (2) other similar locations in the Chicagoland area.

If approved, this resolution would increase the number of allowable liquor licenses as indicated in the accompanying Exhibit A to allow for the issuance of the licenses by the Commissioner. The license will not be issued until all documents regarding the approved occupancy by the City of Aurora and food service license by DuPage County is received by the City.

IMPACT STATEMENT:
The proposed resolution presents an opportunity to further the City of Aurora's economic development.
