The Friends of LaSalle Street Auto Row are requesting permission to stage the LaSalle Street Car Show on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

PURPOSE:
This event attracts visitors to LaSalle Street to share and enjoy its rich history as well as supporting local veterans.
BACKGROUND:
This marks the 10th year the Friends of LaSalle Street have coordinated this event.
DISCUSSION:
The organizers are responsible for notifying neighboring property owners of the street closure two weeks prior to the event and obtain permission for the use of parking lots owned by Fifth Third (or property owner). The will also place "No Parking" signage along the street the Saturday afternoon prior to the event.
A COI is being provided by the City of Aurora as part of a Neighborhood Festival Funding Grant.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Streets to be blocked are LaSalle from Downer to Clark. A map of the area with barricade placement is included as an attachment. Electrical service if available.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
I request the proposed event be forwarded to the Government Operations Committee for review and approval.
