PURPOSE:
To obtain City Council's approval for the 2016 Ward Neighborhood Cleanup and Shred Event Programs.

BACKGROUND:

DISCUSSION:
Ward Neighborhood Cleanup days are scheduled to continue in 2016 in Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 10 beginning in April, and continuing through October 2016. Various vendors will be contacted to provide disposal services and the costs will be determined by the amount of debris hauled away. Additionally, Wards 1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 will hold a Shredding Event. Funds for both of these programs will be allocated from each individual Ward budget as follows: Ward budgets (311), (312), (313), (314), (315), (316), (317), (318), (319) and (320)-1727-424.36-10.
