PURPOSE:
To award Randall Road and Greenview Drive Sidewalk Project to the low bidder, Geneva Construction Company and the appropriation of Motor Fuel Taxes (MFT) by IDOT Resolution.

BACKGROUND:
In an on-going effort to improve accessibility and safety for pedestrians and school children, the City Engineering staff had applied for Safe Routes to School (SRTS) federal funding for Randall Road and Greenview Drive sidewalk project. The proposed work consists of constructing a 5 foot wide PCC sidewalk on the west side of Randall Road (Galena Boulevard to Garfield Avenue) and Greenview Drive (Hankes Avenue to Sheffer Road).

A resolution was passed on August 8, 2017 approving Local Agency Agreement and Phase 3 Construction Engineering Agreement (R17-247 - Resolution attached)
