I am forwarding to you a resolution which would reappoint Michael Kluber to the Building Code Board of Appeals.

A Resolution Reappointing Michael Kluber to the Building Code Board of Appeals.

WHEREAS, the City of Aurora has a population of more than 25,000 persons and is, therefore, a home rule unit under subsection (a) of Section 6 of Article VII of the Illinois Constitution of 1970; and

WHEREAS, subject to said Section, a home rule unit may exercise any power and perform any function pertaining to its government and affairs for the protection of the public health, safety, morals, and welfare; and

WHEREAS, the term of Michael Kluber expired on September 28, 2013; and

WHEREAS, it is the Mayor's desire that Michael Kluber be reappointed to the Building Code Board of Appeals.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Aurora, Illinois, hereby approve the reappointment of Michael Kluber, Batavia, IL 60510 as a member of the Building Code Board of Appeals.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the term of Michael Kluber shall expire on September 28, 2018, however in any event, the appointee shall serve until their respective replacement has been approved by the Council.
