PURPOSE:
A Parking Study for the Luxemburg Club at 416 High Street to determine need for parking restrictions in front of the Luxemburg Club at 416 High Street.
BACKGROUND:
A Resident submitted ACR Case ID 132354 requesting No Parking This Side restrictions in front of the Luxemburg Club.
DISCUSSION:
The Luxemburg Club is located on the southwest corner of High Street and Front Street. Parking is unrestricted on both sides of High Street. The Luxemburg Club has two wide drive approaches on High Street, one to the north side of the building, the other to the south. High Street has an ample width at 36.5-ft. High Street has a double-yellow centerline. There is no Yellow Curb noticeable. Staff recommends prohibiting parking in front of the Luxemburg Club, from the corner of High and Front Streets, south to about 15-ft south of the Club's southern drive approach.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Operations would be responsible or installing the signage.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends NO PARKING FROM HERE TO CORNER signage be installed on the west side of High Street, from the corner of High and Front Streets to about 15-ft. south of the Club's southern drive approach.
