A Resolution Approving a Revision to the Final Plan on Lots 1 and 2 of Mitutoyo Subdivision for the construction of a parking lot and walking trail for overflow parking located at 965 Corporate Boulevard, Aurora, Illinois 60502 (Mitutoyo America - 14-00327 / AU02/3-14.117-Fpn - ES - Ward 1)
PURPOSE:
The Petitioner, Mitutoyo America, has submitted a Final Plan Revision application for the property located at 965 Corporate Boulevard. The details of the proposal include Final Plan on 18.14 acres for the construction of a parking lot and walking trail for overflow parking located at 965 Corporate Boulevard.
BACKGROUND:
This is located in a business park along I-88 and Corporate Blvd. and is the headquarters for Mitutoyo America Corporation.
DISCUSSION:
The petitioner is proposing a 48 space overflow parking lot and walking trail just to the east of the existing 254 car parking lot. This parking lot expansion will allow for parking for additional employees and customers.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
This will expand an existing business and increase the City's overall tax base and not have any impact on City services.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
ZBA recommended approval of the Final Plan Revision for a 48 space parking lot and walking trail at 965 Corporate Blvd. by Mitutoyo America.
