West Aurora High School PTSO is requesting permission to stage the Homecoming Parade on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 3:00 to 4:00 pm.

PURPOSE:
The parade is part of the homecoming celebration and festivities during the week preceding the Friday night football game.
BACKGROUND:
The annual homecoming parade has been held for many years in the neighborhood around West Aurora High School. Projected attendance is 400.
DISCUSSION:
The West Aurora High School PTSO sponsors the parade and is responsible for all costs associated with the event.
A COI has been applied for.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
City services will be needed from the Police Department Traffic Division and the Street Department for parking signs and barricades. A route map is included as an attachment.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
I request the proposed event be forwarded to the Government Operations Committee for review and approval.
