A Resolution for Acceptance of Improvements and Waving the Maintenance Security for Vermeer Midwest - Parking Lot Expansion - COA case No. 17.259
PURPOSE:
To accept the Public Improvements and Waiving the Maintenance Security for Vermeer Midwest - Parking Lot Expansion.
BACKGROUND:
In accordance with Section 43-55(a)(3) of the Municipal Code, the Developer of the Project posted a security to ensure completion of the proposed public improvements.
DISCUSSION:
This development has completed all installations, inspections and submissions that make it eligible to be recommended for final acceptance of these improvements. As required by Section 43-103(c) of the Municipal Code, the Engineering Division has reviewed, approved and filed as-built plans of the constructed public improvements and has completed a final site inspection of these improvements. Based on this review and site inspection, it is recommend that City Council accept the public improvements. Due to site specific circumstances, that these improvements have been in place for a period of time in excess of one year, it is recommended by the City Engineer that the normally required One Year Maintenance period be waived.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
This action may add new public infrastructure /utilities to various divisions for maintenance, including streets, water, storm, sanitary, electrical, storm water management, fiber optic.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Approve the acceptance of improvements and Waiving the Maintenance Security for Vermeer Midwest - Parking Lot Expansion.
